We ordered the birria tacos and absolutely loved them. We've eaten birria tacos from another well known joint, that was just as good, however CDMX give much more filling. No one will ever go home hungry after eating the taco's here. I love that they make their own totopos ( corn chips) and don't sell packages ones. The staff were very friendly. The

Why CDMX Melbourne Central ranks #1 for Taco

CDMX Melbourne Central takes the top spot primarily due to its ability to satisfy even the hungriest diners. The birria tacos are a major highlight, noted for being significantly more filling than competitors. A standout feature is their house-made corn chips, which offer a superior texture compared to standard packaged varieties. While the $5 late-night taco specials are great for students, be aware that the menu can become quite limited during these hours, and some find the al pastor tacos a bit pricey for the portion size.

  • Generous, filling birria tacos that ensure no one leaves hungry
  • High-quality house-made totopos instead of store-bought packets
  • A vibrant, casual atmosphere ideal for groups and students

How to choose

Choosing Taco in Melbourne

When picking your next taco spot, consider what matters most for your meal. If you want a substantial, heavy meal, look for places like CDMX. • Choose Little Hop or Taquito for diverse, specialised flavour profiles
  • Check for $5 specials at Holy Guacamole for budget-friendly dining
